Why we love it:

This large yet intimate and welcoming space full of bright light is highly functional with well defined work zones for a busy family.  A glass door out to the front porch offers a new and natural flow to the entire home's first floor while allowing light to pour into a once dark, cavernous corner.  The built-in banquette is now a central gathering spot for the family that is large enough for a casual dinner but also a quaint breakfast area to serve everyone.  A space that originally lacked any seating at all is now complete with an L-shaped island that will seat four; providing ample room for homework, game nights, cookie baking, meal prep and gathering for family and friends.
