Why we love it:

Inspired by the distinctive Arts & Crafts details of this Cumberland waterfront home, we sought to reinvent the kitchen and main living spaces for the family’s next chapter. Designed by the owner’s architect over thirty years ago, the kitchen sits at the intersection of two sprawling wings of the home. These sections converge at twenty degrees and define the unique arrangement of the main work areas and the raised maple wood seating bar. A large island now extends gracefully towards the dining room to incorporate a 5’ Galley workstation while a nearby unused office was repurposed into a large walk-in pantry. Thermador appliances and a separate washstation were carefully organized allowing effortless flow for two. Thoughtful finish choices reinforce the Craftsman aesthetic with custom cabinetry in cerused white oak and Iron Ore paint from Benjamin Moore.
