Why we love it:

The modern architecture of this 1967 Deck House, a prefab home unique to New England, was craving a more open floor plan to show off its beauty and large windows, bringing the outdoor scenery in. Non-structural walls were removed, expanding the kitchen and giving opportunity to a completely reimagined work-flow. Custom cabinetry painted French Beret by Benjamin Moore give the kitchen a rich and bold appearance; the perfect juxtaposition to the stained wood ceiling and red brick seen throughout the home, The steel-blue paint enhances the warm tones and textures, original to the home, while porcelain floor tiles give a feeling of a true concrete floor - adding to the modern, simplistic feel of the space. Minimal flat moldings top the cabinetry, complimenting the sloped ceilings and elongated hex backsplash tiles which provide a sense of fun and interest that draws the eye.
